Magpie’s Magical Introduction to Cagliari.
This walking tour around the Castella in the old town of Cagliari was led by our guide Maggie. A good tour is dependant on a good guide and Maggie was a great guide. She has a deep interest in history and she shared her knowledge on this topic in a way that was both comprehensive and engaging. She explained the historical legacy of the Phoenecians, Carthagians, Romans concluding with the impact of the 2nd World War on the city. The architecture of the streets, walls and principal buildings were also explained. Her narrative was intertwined with interesting asides, witty observations and humorous interactions. Good suggestions were also given by Maggie on other places to visit, eat and shop and she handled all questions and queries in a thoughtful and respectful manner. Fascinating Tour
A fascinating tour with an exclusive underground visit to a WW2 bunker under a school. Also a guided talk to other public underground exhibits. Interessant
Die Tour durch den „Untergrund“ Cagliari‘s war sehr interessant. Es wurde viel über die Geschichte der Tunnel, der Cripta di S.Restituta und der im Archäologischen Museum zu findenden Überreste aus der vor und nach zeit Christi. Die Tour ging in etwa 2 Stunden, zwischen den verschiedenen Orten gingen wir Zufuß durch Cagliari. So konnte man zusätzlich noch schöne Eindrücke von der Sardischen Kultur gewinnen und bestaunen. Ich gebe dieser Tour 4 Sterne, da es mit der Zeit schon mühsam war nur zu gehen und zu stehen. Es gab im Untergrund sowie in der Cripta zwar Sitzgelegenheiten, jedoch war es aufgrund der Gruppengröße nicht immer möglich sich hinzusetzen. Auch mühsam fanden wir den Wechsel der Sprachen, da die Führerin sowohl erst in Englisch erklärte und dann alles erneut für die Italienischen Gäste. Zusätzlich erschwerte uns persönlich das Verständnis dessen was uns erklärt wurde, da der italienische Akzent oft im Englischen durchkam und wir für einen Moment nicht wussten „spricht sie noch endlich oder schon Italienisch“. Was uns auch nicht zugesprochen hat ist, dass wir vor Ort pro Person 5€ für Tickets bezahlen mussten, obwohl wir bereits über Paypal den Preis für die Tour bezahlt haben (25€ pro Person). So wurden schnell mal 30€ pro Person. Alles in einem war es eine interessante und spannende Tour, die ich trotz meiner persönlichen Mängel weiter empfehlen würde, wenn man den Alten Charme Cagliari‘s kennenlernen möchte.

Leider kürzer als angesetzt..
Positiv: Die Untergrundtour in die ehemaligen Stätte war sehr interessant, dann folgre eine Kirche im UG, diese war auch sehr spannend zu sehen. Negativ: Und nach 2 Std war diese Tour plötzlich beendet, obwohl 3-4 Std in der Beschreibung standen..

Sardinia for two.
Very friendly people, not a lot of infrastructure in the quite rugged interior. Fairly basic by modern standards when you leave the city. Beaches were good, sea was clear and plenty of marine life. Food and eating out was variable from exquisite to poor, so choose carefully. Scenic, not inexpensive but worth a short visit. Italians drive like maniacs and country roads can be very windy in the mountains. Weather was great, Airbnb's mixed. Une visite exceptionnelle au site Nuraghé
Excellente visite très bien organisée ! Les groupes sont bien délimités selon les langues. Nous avons eu la chance d’avoir une guide qui parlait italien et français. Elle a tout fait pour nous rendre une visite extraordinaire. A conseiller
